

Barbara's delightful demonstration
Barbara has been trying to retire from demonstrating for a number of years now, but gets dragged back by her love of flowers, and particuarly those that grow in her extensive garden, and those of her neighbours! She generously came to visit us and we benefited from her artistry and creativity. We encountered a few new shrubs and she handed out cuttings to members with gardens, thereby sharing the botanical knowledge and appreciation. Sincere thanks to Barbara; and we wish her well in her retirement, when she finally gets there!


Debbie Bull's May Queen's Crown
Debbie delighted us with tales of her youth and we were especially intriqued by the handsome special guest who crowned the May Queen in her village when she was a child. Look at this beautiful floral representation of the crown - full of proteas and other South African blooms. See the raffle ticket too - I wonder who the lucky person was who took this home with them!
